I am glad that Rulfo decided to eliminate that info on Rentería though. It seems more intriguing not knowing exactly what is going on. It reminds me of Gabriel García Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude. We never quite knew the how or why behind people/happenings (such as how Remedios la bella floats up to heaven one day)...
