Dr. Conway, fellow classmates, et al:
Hello! I’m Catherine. We may have met in another graduate school course at U.T.A., but in case you don’t know me:
My specialization in Modern Languages is Spanish. I did my undergraduate studies at U.T. Austin (B.A. in English). I lived in Spain for 24 years where I did freelance work as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher, textbook writer-editor, and translator. I returned to the U.S. in late 1998, and currently I teach Spanish in a private all girls’ high school in Dallas. Since I work full time, I am only able to take one course per semester in the masters program. Slowly but surely! This is my fifth course in graduate school, and second MODL course.
I look forward to working with you all this semester. See you next week!
